Overview

Oakbridge relocated into larger premises at IFC 1 in Jersey to give its growing workforce more room, and Neo Office managed the move: dismantling, relocating and reassembling every existing piece of furniture, then supplying and installing new furniture to match what was already there.

Liaising closely with the office manager, the team planned the move to run efficiently and keep disruption to the business at a minimum.

The Neo Office team recently assisted us with an office move and fit out and as always, they went above and beyond. The team are always super friendly, extremely helpful, and very professional at all times. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The Brief

Oakbridge needed a relocation that would:

• Move the business into larger premises at IFC 1 capable of supporting continued workforce growth
• Manage the full relocation of existing furniture, including dismantling, moving and reassembly
• Cause no disruption to day-to-day business during the move
• Match new furniture to the existing workstations and task seating already in use
• Accommodate an expanding workforce comfortably across open office and client-facing areas

The Solution

Steelcase Frame One workstations and Think task chairs

Steelcase Frame One workstations and Think task chairs went in throughout the open office areas, matching furniture already supplied and giving the expanded workforce a consistent standard across every desk. The finished floor mixes open-plan bench desking with dual-monitor setups and low, wood-trimmed partition screens between desks.

William Hands client suites and meeting rooms

Client suites and meeting rooms took a different register: handcrafted William Hands tables, credenzas and chairs. The finished spaces sit behind glass partitions with black metal framing and timber slat ceiling detailing, with high-back leather conference seating around every table.

Breakout and reception

Beyond the desks and meeting rooms, the finished office includes a kitchen and breakout area with a wood-topped island and bar seating, a social breakout zone with café-style tables and lounge chairs, and reception areas with wood-finish joinery and leather lounge seating for visitors.

The Outcome

Oakbridge's growing workforce now has a larger, more comfortable office that carries the same furniture standard from desk to boardroom, moved and installed with no disruption to the business along the way.

It is also a good example of what aftercare and continuity mean in practice at Neo Office: matching new furniture to what was already there, rather than starting the whole scheme over.
