Overview

Members of the same experienced team now at Neo Office were selected to develop and deliver the full FF&E package for the Government of Jersey's new headquarters at Union Street, St Helier.

The project formed one of the largest workplace furniture and FF&E programmes undertaken in Jersey in recent years and comprised seven floors of BREEAM-certified office accommodation.

The development incorporated workstations, meeting environments, collaboration areas, ministerial offices, public consultation spaces, kitchen and breakout areas, customer service settings and staff wellbeing environments.

The project required extensive coordination between architects, designers, consultants, contractors, suppliers and client representatives throughout the programme.

The Brief

The Government of Jersey required a complete FF&E solution capable of supporting a large-scale modern public sector headquarters environment.

The team coordinated supplier management, procurement, product compliance, installation planning and phased delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

Procurement of long-lead items began months before installation works started, with products sourced from manufacturers across the UK and Europe.

Installation was completed floor-by-floor, allowing the wider construction programme to progress efficiently while maintaining quality control throughout the project.

The logistics strategy also included off-site consolidation of deliveries and carefully planned transportation schedules to improve efficiency and reduce handling on site.
