Overview
A family office moved to a quarter of a floor at IFC 1 to base its central offshore team and host quarterly board meetings for its international leadership.
Neo Office tendered for the fit-out, put forward three options, and the client chose the Gold standard as the preferred route, working in partnership with Axis Mason as architect and Lotheringtons completing the fit-out.
The Brief
The client needed a fit-out that would:
- Furnish a quarter-floor space at IFC 1 for a central offshore team and quarterly international board meetings
- Deliver to a high standard, working alongside the appointed architect and fit-out contractor
- Match the seating standard already used in the client's London office
- Support an international board, including practical provision for multi-country laptop charging
The Solution
Neo Office director, Tim Goldacre, travelled to Clerkenwell with the client team and Axis Mason to choose the furniture in person, rather than working from a catalogue alone.
William Hands desks, tables and credenzas
William Hands supplied the desks, meeting tables and credenzas, finished in a light oak veneer with a bespoke power solution built in, giving the international board the ability to charge laptops from multiple countries at the same table.
Vitra seating
Seating throughout was chosen to match the client's London office, supplied by Vitra, including the social and waiting areas. Smaller meeting rooms use round tables and the same tufted leather chairs behind timber-slatted glass partitions. A two-seat banquette in soft beige leather with an integrated side table anchors the waiting area.
Workstations
Individual desks carry the same light oak finish as the boardroom table, each with a dual-monitor setup and cable management built in, sitting alongside glass-partitioned offices.
The Outcome
The finished office gives the client's central offshore team a base that matches the standard of its London office, and gives its international board somewhere fit to meet every quarter.
Delivered to a high standard and finished to the client's satisfaction, in partnership with Axis Mason and Lotheringtons throughout.
